This collaborative modern folk art piece is carefully hand-crafted by our artisans in the rainforests of Madagascar. It's name 'lalao' translates to 'playful', representing the carefree moments in life that inspire happiness. This one-of-a-kind wall hanging is made from raffia plant fiber, cultivated mulberry silk cocoons, and Ceranchia wild silk cocoons - a species only found in Madagascar. Each piece is skillfully constructed using an inventive textile collaging technique.
