Celebrated Silks

Tanana Madagascar textiles extend beyond traditional use, offering designers, artists, and architects a versatile medium rooted in nature and social justice. Made from sustainably harvested wild silk cocoons and raffia palm fibers from northeastern Madagascar, our materials are celebrated for their organic texture, natural translucency, and ability to transform across applications.

Design

In architectural and interior design, our flattened ethical silk cocoons have been integrated into glass panels, wall installations, and lighting elements where they diffuse and create dynamic atmospheres that shift throughout the day.

Fashion

In fashion, our materials' irregular structure and natural sheen inspire designers to move beyond conventional fabrics, resulting in textures that are richly dimensional and expressive as a backdrop for model shoots.

Exhibits

On exhibit, our materials explore themes of ecology, craftsmanship, and cultural identity in immersive and visually striking ways. This balance of innovation, sustainability, and aesthetic impact allows our artisan team to help continually redefine how regenerative materials can be experienced in space, form, and design.
