A Month of Gratitude
COVID-19 has struck our team, and they need your help to survive this crisis. In this issue, find our 2020 Holiday Gift Guide and learn how you can help our Malagasy team by contributing to our COVID relief fund.
Coping with COVID: we need your help!
It is with a heavy heart that we report that, despite their best efforts, all but one member of our Malagasy team has fallen ill with COVID-19. In response to this outbreak and the hardships it has inflicted on our Ta’na’na Silk community, we have started a fundraiser to establish emergency health funds for the team. We recognize that this is a difficult time for all, and any amount you are able to contribute to our COVID relief fund will make a direct impact on our team members who are struggling with this disease and their families. Can you donate today to help our Malagasy team survive this outbreak?
We greatly appreciate any support you might give. For more information or to make a donation, visit the link below.

FAQ: Why Madagascar?
Why do we focus our efforts on Madagascar? Even though millions of dollars of conservation aid has been directed to Madagascar, its ecosystems continue to be overexploited. We saw a need for a new approach to conservation that also addressed the economic development and food security of the Malagasy people, and quickly worked to fill it. We introduced small-scale agricultural production of native silkworms and silk, which allowed participating farmers to more than double their average yearly incomes. The products of that project are what make up our Ta’na’na Silk inventory! 100% of profits are returned to our Malagasy team, continuing to work towards conservation and poverty alleviation in Northeastern Madagascar.
