WE'VE PARTNERED WITH LEMUR LOVE TO SUPPORT WILDLIFE CONSERVATION!
To commemorate World Lemur Day, Tanana has joined forces with Lemur Love.
Lemur Love's mission is to protect lemurs, empower women, and further lemur science.
We are proud to partner with Lemur Love to support our mission of biodiversity conservation in Madagascar. Lemur Love's work promotes the conservation of wild lemurs and their forest habitats.
Our talented artisans have adapated Lemur Love's "lemuries" and created beautiful and sustainable lemur ornaments, using Madagascar silk cocoons. These ornaments are handmade and limited. Your purchase supports the livelihoods of the artisans (and their families) and conservation of lemurs in their forest homes.
Proceeds from these ornaments help support Lemur Love's 2022 field expedition to Tsimanampesotse National Park. They aim to purchase a portable veterinary laboratory machine which will help them understand the health of wild ring-tailed lemurs and how this may have changed over the last 20 years. Long-term research is essential to understanding the impacts of climate change on lemurs. These special edition handmade ornaments are limited so get them while they last!
